Drug Free and Proud
Students at Kelley Smith Elementary celebrated Red Ribbon week and Character Counts week with lots of wonderfully planned activities by Cindy David, Guidance Counselor at KSES.
Students kicked off the week by wearing red and pledging to be drug free. Other activities Mrs. David planned for the week were Be A Rock Star in which students were allowed to dress as Rock Stars, Too Smart to Start where students dressed in their nerd gear, and Put a Cap on Drugs which allowed students to wear hats all day in support of being drug free.
To wrap up the week students enjoyed My “Character” Counts. Students and teachers at Kelley Smith Elementary School dressed up as characters of their favorite story.
